Siparium is a sliding panel system with a substantial frame extruded from aluminium.  The frame is available in an anodised finish or wrapped in timber veneers.  The height and width of the panels will determine whether cross-pieces are required.  A wide variety of glass finishes are available including lacquers.  The system is top-hung, which means there is no floor track and it can be built into a stud wall as a “pocket door”.
